Under certain circumstances, the digit "zero" inside a number needs to be read (and written if we want to write the number with Chinese characters). When?
Well, let's take as an example a 12 digits number (432,143,214,321) and divide it the "Chinese way", from right to left, in groups of four digits (4321 4321 4321). We so obtain three groups of four digits. Each group has, from right to left, the units, tens, hundreds and thousands digit position.
With that said:
Rule n.1: if one or more zeros are at the end of any group of four digits, don't read or write them.
