Ask Questions 1
Example 1: first of all, let's write a simple declarative sentence: You love her.
You love her.
|
How then would we ask, in Chinese, "Do you love her?" We form an interrogative sentence adding the particle 吗 (ma) at the end of a declarative sentence, so we just add 吗 (ma) at the end of 你爱她 (nǐ ài tā) and replace 。(that is the Chinese full stop) with a big question mark!
Do you love her?
|
Example 2: One more sentence: He is David.
He is David.
|
How would we say "Is he David?"
Is he David?
|
Everything clear 吗?
