Free Chinese Names

"Chinese names are now free!" As you may have already noticed, I have just "opened the doors" to my collection of Chinese names!

They are now available for free on my site www.wearyourchinesename.com

You find everything about your Chinese name:

  • Its meaning;
  • Its pronunciation;
  • Its Chinese characters;
  • Its pin-yin;
  • MP3 files;
  • Number of strokes of each character;
  • Animation showing the correct order of strokes;
  • Its simplified Chinese version;
  • Its traditional version;
  • Curiosities...

I'm also more then willing to add more names.

Add a comment, please, to this post indicating the name you want to be added.

Next week I'll draw a name from those posted in the comments and add it to the list!

Furthermore, if you think I should add more information about Chinese names, please give me your suggestion! I want that "everything about your Chinese name" really means everything!

Hi Giuseppe,

Can you please give a Chinese version for "Valeriy" or "Valery" (male names)?

My son's Chinese name is Wei Li. The Wei is first tone meaning power but I have forgotten the tone and meaning of the second character....I think it also meant something like strength. Can you help?
